About Us We build premium applications and integrations around "Smartsheet". We’re a small, high-velocity engineering team shipping real products used by enterprise customers. Our work spans backend services, React frontends, and deep API integrations — especially Smartsheet and related enterprise systems. We’re hiring a Lead Full Stack Developer who can own features end-to-end, support scoping across engineering + product, and help us scale our platform as demand grows. We plan to kick off interviews in January 2026 and begin work in February, so we’re posting early to identify great candidates. US Time Zone preferred. What You’ll Do - Own full-stack development work across Python + Django, JavaScript + React, and AWS - Lead the technical scoping of new features: requirements gathering, clarifying edge cases, writing clear specs, and breaking work down for other engineers - Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to ship cohesive, high-quality product experiences - Investigate and resolve customer-impacting issues across multiple products and connectors - Participate in architectural decisions - help improve how our products scale, integrate, and run - Identify, prioritize, and refine backlog items with product and engineering leadership - Over time: lead initiatives, mentor devs, and take ownership of project delivery What We’re Looking For - Strong full-stack experience and a clear understanding of how frontend + backend systems interact - Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Django, and React (or willingness to ramp quickly) - Experience with AWS and GitHub for deployment and version control. - Excellent communication skills - Ability to write clear technical documentation, coordinate with other developers, and stakeholders. - Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with shifting needs and high autonomy - Major plus: experience with Smartsheet, Smartsheet API, or building integrations with enterprise SaaS systems - Bonus: experience leading technical scoping, requirements gathering, or supporting customer-facing solution design Why Work With Us - Fully remote role with flexible hours - Small team = big ownership; your work directly shapes multiple shipped products - Growth path into technical leadership as our engineering team expands - Work on a wide range of integrations, platforms, and use cases - no stale backlogs here - Direct partnership with our Head of Engineering and Product Who Thrives Here People who love solving real customer problems, working quickly, and owning their craft from start to finish will thrive here.
