Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist with strong Shopify, funnel, and email marketing skills, plus familiarity with social media growth and marketing automation tools.
About Us We are a publishing company that produces books focused on health, wellness, and personal development. As our catalog expands, we are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who can help us strengthen our customer journey, grow our email list, and optimize our digital sales funnels. What We’re Looking For We need a strategic and hands-on marketing partner who has experience with: Customer Journeys & Funnels - Designing and building post-purchase flows where customers can scan QR codes inside our books and be directed to landing pages, upsells, or conversion pathways. - Building email nurture and drip campaigns that strengthen customer relationships and drive repeat sales. Email List Growth - Leading strategy to grow our email list through Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other channels. - Advising and implementing strategies such as auto-DM flows (e.g., ManyChat) where applicable. Shopify & Website Optimization - Experience with Shopify backend and customization. - Optimizing our website and user experience (UX) for higher conversions and sales. - Familiarity with TikTok Shop is a plus. Performance & Strategy - Tracking **KPIs** and providing regular reports on marketing performance. - Making frequent recommendations for improvements. - Leading the **strategy and execution** of our marketing roadmap. Key Responsibilities - Create and optimize customer funnels (book purchase → QR codes → landing pages → upsell opportunities). - Develop and manage email nurture sequences and drip campaigns. - Strategize and implement email list growth campaigns using social channels. - Advise on and support auto-DM tools for Instagram lead capture. - Improve Shopify website conversions and overall user experience. - Provide KPI tracking, reporting, and actionable recommendations. - Stay up to date on TikTok Shop opportunities and emerging platforms. Ideal Candidate - Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role. - Strong background in Shopify, funnels, and email marketing. - Familiarity with social media growth tactics and integration into email capture. - Experience with ManyChat or similar auto-DM tools (preferred but not required). - Comfortable tracking and interpreting marketing KPIs. - Bonus: Experience running or optimizing TikTok Shop - Bonus: Experience running meta ads as it may be a future channel Project Scope & Engagement - This role will begin as a project-based contract with the opportunity to expand into an ongoing engagement. - Initial focus will be on: 1. Building customer journey funnels with book QR codes completed by September 12, 2025. 2. Developing an email growth strategy across social platforms. - Future responsibilities will include managing ongoing email campaigns, Shopify optimization, and strategic marketing performance. Ongoing Workload: - Approx. 5–10 hours per week after initial systems are built, as we continue to optimize and release products. - Company plans to release 2 new products per month, meaning ongoing marketing optimization, funnels, and email campaigns will be part of the role.
