About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with deep expertise in direct mail analytics, predictive modeling, and advanced AI-driven data analysis. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing our direct mail strategies, improving response rates, enhancing audience targeting, and driving measurable business outcomes through data innovation. This position is perfect for someone who is equally comfortable building models, extracting insights, and collaborating with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to influence strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities Direct Mail Optimization •Develop predictive models to identify high-value prospects and optimize mailing lists. • Analyze direct mail performance metrics including response rates, conversion rates, attribution, and ROI. • Create audience segmentation frameworks to refine targeting strategies. • Use uplift modeling and multivariate testing to improve channel efficiency. AI & Advanced Analytics • Leverage machine learning, LLMs, and AI-powered analytics tools to automate data processing, feature engineering, and insight generation. • Build and deploy predictive and prescriptive models to forecast customer behavior and campaign performance. • Utilize natural language processing (NLP) to analyze unstructured data such as customer feedback, seller communications, and property information. • Experiment with generative AI tools to enhance workflow automation and reporting. Data Engineering & Reporting • Build robust data pipelines to gather, clean, and transform marketing and customer data from multiple sources. • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights. • Collaborate with internal teams to validate data quality, ensure consistency, and evolve data infrastructure. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with Direct Mail, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to guide strategy with data-driven recommendations. • Present findings to executives using clear, compelling visualizations and narratives. • Contribute to testing roadmaps and innovation initiatives related to customer acquisition. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. • 3–7 years of experience as a Data Scientist, ideally in direct mail, marketing analytics, or performance marketing. • Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages; experience using ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. • Hands-on experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, segmentation, and statistical analysis. • Solid understanding of direct mail metrics, workflows, and best practices. • Experience using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.). • Comfortable working with SQL and cloud-based data environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable business insights. • Bonus: Experience with geospatial modeling, property or real estate data, or marketing automation systems.
