The Argyros Performing Arts Center marketing associate role is a great opportunity for those interested in promoting live concerts and events. We are seeking a candidate to assist with all areas of the venue’s marketing, including website updates, social media content and engagement, data analysis and advertising. This is a great opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for the arts, familiarity with digital marketing/advertising and social platforms, and an interest in data and trends. As an essential member of the marketing team, you will assist with implementing a digital communications strategy to support ticket sales and marketing efforts, build engagement and promote The Argyros’ institutional branding and mission. Specific areas of responsibility include: Digital Marketing (50%) - Drafting email blasts for show announcements, ticket on-sale announcements, season announcements, ‘This week/this month at The Argyros’ emails. - Assisting in distribution of digital marketing materials (banner ads, meta ads, etc.). - Compile monthly reports on engagement, conversions, & growth and deliver actionable insights to inform future strategy. - Updating Argyros homepage and community calendar with Argyros Presents events throughout our performance season. - Updating local and regional community calendars with information on upcoming events (VisitSunValley, Discover Wood River Valley Chamber, Idaho Mountain Express, etc.). - Distributing information for upcoming events (description, dates, times, approved high res images) to organizations with publications/event listings (Eye On Sun Valley, SVPN, SV Magazine, Boise Weekly, etc.) - Updating community calendar for rental clients on Argyros website as needed. Social Media and Content Creation (15%) - Assisting in scheduling/developing creative social media content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn to promote our events and initiatives, grow our following and engage our audiences. - Helping maintain organized social content calendar using Google Calendar. - Uploading Argyros Presents events to Facebook throughout our performance season. - Engage with our online community and build relationships by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. - Write compelling social media copy for posts aimed at boosting engagement, promoting our mission, and developing relationships with our social media followers. - Share content from Argyros artists, partners, patrons and venue rental clients as appropriate. Other Responsibilities (35%) - Coordinating and maintaining our street team calendar and helping to distribute flyers/posters/other print marketing materials throughout the county (if located in Blaine County). - Assisting Marketing Director in organizing and installing promotional print ads both on-site and off-site (currently we advertise at the visitor center and at giacobbe square throughout the year and there are performance ads throughout our lobby space that get changed on a regular basis). - Assisting Marketing Director in supplying publications with print advertising materials (communicating with graphic designer to put together ads, managing deadlines, and getting ad mat to publications in a timely manner). - Maintaining updated distribution lists for print marketing materials (press list, community calendar list, poster distribution list, etc.). - Organizing and uploading monitor slides (for both Argyros Presents performances and venue rental clients) to three lobby monitors at The Argyros. - Assisting in working with printers (both locally and online) to print season performance marketing (window clings, posters, lobby panels, giacobbe ads, etc.). - Assisting Marketing Director in organizing approved artist assets from artist management teams in dropbox/shared drive folders for graphic designer and other departments. - Assisting Marketing Director in drafting and distributing press releases. Responsibilities will include other duties as required by the department. Desired Qualifications and Requirements: - 1-2 years related work or internship experience. - Familiarity with the Monday.com platform or willing to learn (we will be utilizing this platform to track Marketing Interns tasks through to completion and to track marketing campaigns progress). - A creative mind and the ability to generate engaging, interesting content consistent with The Argyros’ brand identity and strategic goals. - Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube - Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Meta Business Manager (or willingness to learn). - Basic graphic design skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. - Communication and organizational skills. - Self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities. - Employees may be asked to use a personal cell phone in order to access authenticator apps and related software necessary for work credentials/multi-factor authentication (MFA) as well as social media posting.
