We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our great Sensor Components SW-Engineering group to build Upwind Sensor for Windows OS. The group faces complex engineering issues on a daily basis, both solving new challenges and constantly improving the existing solutions. We work with all major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and use cutting-edge technologies such as Go, Kubernetes, Docker, eBPF, and more. Responsibilities Customer focus: Collaborate with product management to implement customer-requested features. Full project ownership: Oversee all project phases from inception to production, including design, development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. Technical leadership: Contribute to architectural decisions and conduct code reviews to ensure high quality. System optimization: Analyze and enhance backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability. Build top Security modules for full protection providing network monitoring, processes, file integrity, detection and responses. eBPF sensor development: Develop and refine our eBPF-based sensor to provide in-depth Kubernetes cluster visibility for proactive threat detection. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver exceptional features Requirements Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience with Software Engineering in a high-level programming language (e.g. Golang, Java, C, C++, C#) Experience developing Windows Security modules utilizing WMI or other security framework - Win32 applications and/or kernel drivers. 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes. Experience with cloud platforms and products (e.g. AWS, GCP and Azure) Experience implementing data-intensive systems (databases, event systems, messaging systems, etc) Familiarity with Windows internals, networking and file systems Experience developing Windows security modules in one or more of the fields of networking, processes and file systems - a plus.
