Job Title: Outpatient Neurologist Company Overview: UPMC Northwest PA and NY is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care across Pennsylvania and New York. Role Overview: We are seeking dedicated outpatient neurologists to join our expanding UPMC Northshore Neurology team at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. This role offers a tailored practice experience designed to balance professional fulfillment with personal well-being, within a collegial and supportive group. What You'll Do: - You will provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care to a diverse patient population. - You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - You will participate in community outreach and education to promote neurological health awareness. - You will engage in continuous professional development and contribute to clinical research initiatives. - You will utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to enhance patient outcomes. - You will maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. - You will support a no-call schedule, ensuring work-life balance. - You will contribute to a positive and collegial team environment. What You Bring: - You have an MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Neurology. - You possess at least 3 years of clinical experience in outpatient neurology. - You have strong diagnostic and patient management skills. - You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - You are eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and/or New York. - You have a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with neurological subspecialties such as stroke, epilepsy, or movement disorders. - Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. - Participation in or eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. - Prior involvement in clinical research or teaching.
