Role Overview: We are seeking dedicated outpatient neurologists to join our expanding UPMC Northshore Neurology team at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized neurological care in a supportive, collegial group setting, tailored to fit your professional and personal needs. What You'll Do: - You will provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care to a diverse patient population. - You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - You will engage in community outreach to raise awareness about neurological health. - You will participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. - You will maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. - You will contribute to a positive and collegial work environment through teamwork and communication. - You will have no on-call responsibilities, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree and board certification in Neurology. - You possess at least 3 years of experience in outpatient neurology practice. - You are licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania and/or New York. - You demonstrate strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach. - You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) eligibility. - Prior work in a collegial group practice setting. - Interest or experience in community health education. - Additional subspecialty training in neurology.
