Role Overview: We are seeking dedicated outpatient neurologists to join our expanding UPMC Northshore Neurology team at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. What You'll Do: - You will provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care to a diverse patient population. - You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - You will participate in community outreach and education to promote neurological health. - You will engage in continuous professional development and stay current with advancements in neurology. - You will contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. - You will maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. - You will support a no-call schedule, ensuring work-life balance. What You Bring: - You have a medical degree and board certification in Neurology. - You possess at least 3 years of experience in outpatient neurology practice. - You have strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders. - You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - You are eligible for or willing to participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a community hospital or academic medical center. - Subspecialty training or interest in areas such as stroke, epilepsy, or movement disorders. - Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
