Role Overview: We are seeking dedicated outpatient neurologists to join our expanding neurology team at UPMC Northshore Neurology at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. This role offers a tailored practice experience designed to balance professional fulfillment with personal well-being, within a collegial and supportive group. What You'll Do: - You will provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care to a diverse patient population. - You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - You will participate in community outreach and education to promote neurological health awareness. - You will engage in continuous professional development and contribute to clinical research initiatives. - You will utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to enhance patient outcomes. - You will maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. - You will support a no-call schedule, ensuring work-life balance. What You Bring: - You will have an MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Neurology. - You will possess at least 3 years of clinical experience in outpatient neurology. - You will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach. - You will have excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - You will be eligible for or have completed the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a community hospital or academic medical center. - Subspecialty training or interest in areas such as stroke, epilepsy, or movement disorders. - Research experience or publications in neurology. - Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
