UPMC Corporate Finance is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst, Senior to conduct and document complex financial analysis projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on interpreting financial data, mentoring others, and providing strategic insights that drive business decisions. Location: This position will be based out of UPMC Altoona. It offers the flexibility to work from home 1 to 2 days per week and will require occasional travel (10%25) to UPMC Somerset, UPMC Bedford & UPMC Western Maryland. Key Responsibilities: · Interpret Financial Data: Analyze and interpret complex financial transactions and events to support strategic decision-making. · Mentorship: Provide functional advice and training to less experienced financial analysts and administrative staff. · Data Analysis: Extract and define relevant financial information to assess past performance and forecast future financial outcomes. · Advanced Reporting: Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis. · Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis using data from various financial systems. · Transaction Management: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). · Cost Studies: Plan and conduct in-depth studies to determine the cost of business activities, and recommend budget adjustments and cost-saving measures.
