Salary: $50,000 annual base salary (draw against commission) Company: NexGen Steel Corp Location: In-house and Remote (U.S. Based) Compensation: $50,000 Base Salary (Draw Against Commission) + Commission up to 5% About Us NexGen Steel is revolutionizing the construction industry by providing cold-formed steel framing solutions that are cost-effective, sustainable, and high-performance. Our steel framing systems often save builders up to 25% compared to lumber, while offering superior strength and reliability. With a growing pipeline of projects across the country, we are expanding our sales team to build strong partnerships and bring the benefits of steel to more builders. Role Overview We are seeking ambitious Relationship Managers/RMs to join our team and help us grow our builder network. This role is in-house/remote, entrepreneurial, and commission-driven. Your primary responsibility will be to connect with engineers, architects, builders, homeowner associations, and other decision-makers to identify upcoming projects where steel can be offered as a cost-saving alternative to lumber. This is not a transactional sales roleits about relationship building, networking, and solution selling. Success means establishing a strong pipeline and closing multi-million-dollar projects that drive growth for both you and NexGen Steel. Key Responsibilities • Build and nurture relationships with architects, engineers, builders, and homeowner associations. • Identify active and upcoming construction projects suitable for steel framing. • Present NexGens steel solutions as a cost-effective alternative to lumber. • Work with internal teams to prepare bids and proposals. • Develop a personal sales pipeline, with an annual target of $4M in gross revenue (ranging from $2M on the low end to $10M+ for top performers). • Represent NexGen Steel professionally in all communications and networking activities. Compensation & Earnings Potential • Base Salary: $50,000 per year (paid as a monthly draw against commission). • Commission: Up to 5% of all sales. • Earnings Range: • $2M annual sales = $100,000/year • $4M annual sales = $200,000/year • $10M annual sales = $500,000+/year Note: The base salary is designed to support you while you build your pipeline. Most RMs transition to 100% commission within ~6 months, once their earnings exceed the base. At that point, your income potential grows significantly. What Were Looking For • Proven success in sales, business development, or relationship management. • Experience in construction, building materials, or related industries preferred. • Strong networking, communication, and presentation skills. • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to close high-value deals. • Ability to work remotely and manage your own pipeline.
