Job Description Project Management Lead end-to-end delivery of operations-related projects or initiatives (Cash Management, Payments, Remittance) Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation Manage stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and Business units Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards Business Analysis Articulate, gather and document business requirements Perform gap analysis and process mapping Prioritize change requests Translate requirements into functional specifications Support UAT planning and execution Remittance Expertise Support local and cross-border remittance operations Ensure system stability and operational efficiency for remittance platforms Drive enhancements and automation for remittance processes Data Analytics Manage remittance data analytics for trend analysis, fraud detection, and operational insights Develop dashboards and reports for management Use data to optimize cost and improve STP (Straight Through Processing) rates Operational Excellence Drive process improvements and automation initiatives Identify operational risks and propose mitigation strategies Ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs Stakeholder Management Communicate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams Prepare project updates, dashboards, and executive summaries Regulatory & Risk Compliance Ensure projects comply with MAS regulations and internal risk frameworks Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field PMP/Prince2 certification preferred Minimum 10 years in banking operations with at least 5 years in project management Proven experience in remittance operations (local & cross-border) Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of remittance systems and payment platforms Familiarity with SWIFT, CBPR+, MEPS+, and cross-border payment rails Data Analytics Proficiency in analyzing large datasets for operational insights Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL Regulatory Knowledge Familiarity with MAS guidelines, AML/KYC, and operational risk frameworks Preferred Skills: Experience in automation and digital transformation projects Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards Exposure to Agile methodologies Additional Requirements Be a Part of the UOB Family UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
