Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Psychology or a closely related field and experience teaching at the college level. Familiarity with online instructional technologies and a commitment to excellence in teaching are also required.

The Department of Psychology at the University of the Cumberlands invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology position. We seek a dedicated and engaging educator who is passionate about undergraduate teaching, mentorship, and scholarship. Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in online formats. Advise and mentor undergraduate students in academic and professional development. Participate in curriculum development and program assessment to ensure continuous improvement. Engage in scholarly activities such as research and professional development. Provide service to the department, university, and broader community consistent with the mission of the University of the Cumberlands. Required Qualifications Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Experience teaching at the college or university level. Familiarity with online instructional technologies and delivery methods. Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and student-centered learning. Effective oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Interest in mentoring undergraduate research. Active involvement in professional organizations in psychology.
