Position Summary The Project Manager (75% FTE ) will provide leadership and operational management across multiple research and implementation projects focused on cancer prevention, control, survivorship, and physical activity promotion. The portfolio includes the Scaling What Works ( SWW ) initiative, the Consortium for Cancer Implementation Science ( CCIS ), and the Physical Activity Centers Empowerment ( PACE ) Study, with additional support for cross-project coordination and communication activities. This position requires exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills to support multi-site and multi-institutional collaborations. The Project Manager will oversee daily project operations, manage timelines and deliverables, coordinate communication among academic and community partners, and ensure high-quality implementation and reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at balancing competing priorities in a dynamic academic research environment. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience THIS IS A TIME - LIMITED APPOINTMENT WITH AN ESTIMATED DURATION OF 3 YEARS . We are seeking a professional who is independent, self-motivated, and collaborative, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Required • Experience coordinating meetings, webinars, and conferences (virtual and in-person). Minimum of 1 years of project management experience in research, public health, or related settings. • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and manage multiple concurrent deliverables. • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner). • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and collaborative platforms such as Teams. • Knowledge of research methods, data management, and reporting processes. • Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and with community partners. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience • Experience working in academic, research, or public health environments. • Background in cancer prevention and control, physical activity promotion, or implementation science. • Experience with grant reporting, manuscript preparation, and technical writing. • Familiarity with community-engaged research and multi-site coordination. • Experience developing and managing communications materials (e.g., newsletters, websites, or social media content).
