Responsibilities* Responsibilities could include: • Room patients and perfomr standard patient intake including vitals • Assist with minor clinical office procedures • Performs standard medical laboratory/Point of Care (POC) testing. • Administer medications/immunizations, injections as directed • Respond to general patient inquiries regarding treatment and clinic policies and procedures. • Coordinate patient care with outside health agencies. • May complete general administrative duties as assigned including; Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Disability and Return to Work forms, Electronic Medical Record in-basket messages, etc. • Complete other clinical and non-clinical duties as assigned. Required Qualifications* • High school diploma or GED. • Knowledge of basic medical terminology. • Moderate standing/walking, as well as, lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients. Associate Level: • 1-3 years of experience Assistant Level: • 0-1 years of experience • Some office experience Desired Qualifications* • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or (RMA). • Experience working within a large complex health care setting. • Familiarity with electronic medical records system. • Bilingual in Japanese/English (includes written and verbal communication) Work Schedule Full Time hours, 40 hours per week, weekday schedule will vary depending on location/clinic. May be occasional weekends.
