Your next career opportunity As the Senior Manager, Energy, Risk and Sustainability, you will lead transformative initiatives across the University of Melbourne's extensive property portfolio. You will manage a significant energy budget, oversee risk functions, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve excellence in energy efficiency, compliance, and sustainability outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: Providing leadership: guiding energy, risk, compliance, and sustainability initiatives to support University objectives. Ensuring risk and compliance: leading risk management across the large and complex operations and deliver portfolio, ensuring adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements. Managing energy and utilities: leading efficient management of energy, water, and gas, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness. Promoting sustainability: developing programs for waste reduction, resource recovery, and circular economy practices to meet strategic targets. You may be a great fit if: You bring extensive leadership experience in risk, compliance, energy, and sustainability, with the ability to drive long-term transformation and deliver impactful initiatives in a complex organisational environment. You may also: Have graduate or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline. Possess significant experience managing large-scale energy and utilities budgets. Demonstrate visionary thinking and strategic execution capabilities. Exhibit strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
