Role Overview: As a Financial Services Analyst within the DIT, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing financial operations to support the university’s technology initiatives. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze financial data, streamline processes, and collaborate across departments to ensure efficient financial management. What You'll Do: - You will analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports to support decision-making. - You will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the division. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems. - You will monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with university policies and regulations. - You will assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit documentation. - You will support the implementation of financial software and tools to enhance operational efficiency. - You will communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels. - You will identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. What You Bring: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles. - Strong proficiency in financial software such as Excel, SAP, or Oracle. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively. - Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
