Role Overview: As a Financial Services Analyst within the DIT, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing financial operations to support the university’s technology initiatives. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze financial data, streamline processes, and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial management. What You'll Do: - You will analyze financial data related to IT operations and provide actionable insights to support decision-making. - You will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities for the Division of Information Technology. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and ensure compliance with university policies. - You will assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and audit documentation. - You will monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities within IT projects and services. - You will support the implementation of financial systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency. - You will communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels. - You will contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at improving financial operations. What You Bring: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within higher education or technology sectors. - Strong proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, SAP, or Oracle. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a university or public sector environment. - Knowledge of IT operations and technology budgeting. - Familiarity with financial compliance and audit processes in higher education. - Advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA.
