Role Overview: As a Financial Services Analyst within the Division of Information Technology, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing financial operations. This position is designed for a detail-oriented professional who can analyze financial data, support budgeting processes, and ensure compliance with university policies. What You'll Do: - You will analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings. - You will support the preparation and monitoring of budgets within the IT division. - You will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. - You will assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. - You will prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management. - You will manage financial transactions and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy. - You will participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations. - You will use financial software and tools to streamline operations and improve data accuracy. What You Bring: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles. - Strong proficiency in financial software such as Excel, SAP, or Oracle. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. - Experience working in higher education or public sector finance is preferred. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
