We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Shop/Warehouse Technician & Field Assistant to support both our in-house operations and field team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily workflow by managing inventory, preparing equipment and materials, maintaining a clean and efficient shop/warehouse environment, and assisting technicians on job sites as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Key Responsibilities Shop & Warehouse Duties • Maintain organized and clean shop and warehouse areas. • Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming materials and equipment. • Pull, prepare, and stage parts and equipment for scheduled jobs. • Assist in managing equipment returns, warranty items, and repair parts. • Coordinate with office and field staff to ensure accurate and timely material availability. Field Assistant Duties • Support field technicians on job sites with material handling, equipment setup, and basic labor tasks. • Deliver tools, equipment, or parts to job sites daily as directed. • Assist with prep work, cleanup, and organization. • Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and coworkers. • Assist with commercial site surveys. Qualifications • Previous warehouse, shop, construction, or field experience preferred. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor tasks. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Basic tool knowledge (HVAC/electrical/mechanical experience a plus). • Reliable and punctual. Professional attitude and customer-service mindset Job Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM . Overtime paid for hours that exceed 40 per week.
