The opportunity The Unity Real-Time 3D Engine targets many platforms. The Platform Authoring group comprises four different teams, all focused on the evolution of cross-platform engine features used to create content. As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Platform Authoring, you will coordinate the delivery of strategic projects while collaborating with leaders from Engineering, Product Management, Design, Quality Assurance, and other teams as required. You will also play a key role in building relationships and facilitating collaboration with external partners. As teams adapt to new opportunities, you will craft and implement change management strategies to guide process improvements and ease organizational change. You will have to wear several hats: connector, mentor, reporter, translator, diplomat. Above all, you will act as a force multiplier for the teams you work with. You should have an adaptable program management style and be able to dedicate yourself to promoting a culture of empowerment, ownership, trust, and continuous improvement. What you'll be doing Coordinating with engineering and product managers to build and execute against their roadmap to balance feature development goals, partner commitments, and operational improvements Driving for clarity on product, partner, and stakeholder requirements, expectations, and timelines Using effective communication, tools, and program management strategies so that teams stay on track, goals are met, and internal and external partners have the information they need Iterating on existing processes and methodologies, or developing solutions where none exist, to improve our velocity, collaboration, and visibility while being respectful of what came before Identifying and mitigating risks associated with change, and handling any conflicts that arise. What we're looking for Software project/program management experience, working closely with engineering and non-technical teams to facilitate the successful delivery of features and products A track record of delivering against contractual obligations and managing external relationships An unwavering persistence in tracking down and resolving loose ends. Experience managing process and organizational change, working to evolve the current of embedded habits rather than fighting against it A focus on establishing relationships, maintaining a positive culture, and optimizing communications tailored to a variety of audiences and stakeholders. You might also have A passion for the future of computer games or real-time 3D experiences in a variety of settings Proven experience with Kanban, Scrum, Waterfall, and other development methodologies Proficiency using tools such as Jira, Miro, and Confluence.
