The Survey and Research Consultant is responsible for implementing member surveys and service recovery programs for experiences related to the Consumer Assessment of Health Care Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey. This role is a SME across the line of business for survey administration and best practices. The role will analyze and monitor the existing business and competitive landscape and provide support for strategic initiatives, such as survey service recovery. The position will partner closely with the director to manage and develop primary research (surveys, focus groups, etc.) associated with members and patients. The ideal candidate has experience in customer, member or patient experience survey administration. The candidate needs to be detailed oriented with an ability to take complex information and translate it into simpler context. The position also requires experience working cross-functionally, influencing and gaining alignment from multiple teams. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Managing the implementation of survey projects Support and partner with survey director and multiple teams on survey strategy Develop effective methods for data/information collection Work cross functionally and coordinate with others internally or externally to gather information and overcome challenges to obtaining needed information Define methods for survey evolution while still ensuring business needs are met Manage survey service recovery programs, including script development and implementation with partner teams You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience implementing CAHPS survey programs 2+ years of experience influencing cross-functionally 2+ years of experience with patient improvement efforts Comprehensive understanding of Medicare STARS program Proven detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills Proven excellent verbal, written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of Prior experience with Vendor Management 6+ years of Prior Program Oversight experience *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
