For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities: Engages and collaborates with key stakeholders within the UHC and with other functional areas in UHC and Optum to implement utilization management initiatives and develop solutions if issues arise Monitors each initiative’s progress and outcomes, ensuring completion by the deliverable date. Performs quality assurance checks Manage business processes necessary to support process design, implementation, and maintenance Provide subject matter expertise on the technical and operational elements of UHC’s sales tools Develop and maintain processes and sources of truth documentation Develop a solid understanding of our Medicare and Medicaid businesses, their benefit design, and the programs developed to meet strategy goals for each line of business Establish, cultivate, and maintain solid, collaborative working relationships with key partners to drive objectives and goals You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid 3+ years of experience enabling projects or processes 3+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices while effectively prioritizing tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines Proven skilled communicator with ability to adapt written and verbal communication to needs of the audience Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a matrixed team environment to deliver objectives within an established timeline Immediate proficiency or higher in the suite of Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the development and deployment of process improvements Proven ability to balance multiple tasks and both accept direction and self-manage daily activities Demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships with key stakeholders Demonstrated solid organizational skills *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
