This role will lead the end-to-end communications process for incidents that arise on the Health Benefit Account (HBA) and Directed Spend (Payer) business. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities: Write and edit communications to address operational incidents, including but not limited to letters, emails, talking points, and portal messages Attend all issue management meetings as the marketing representative to interpret complex and often technical incidents and distill it into actionable messaging for clients and consumers Determine the best communication strategy for the associated population - consider cost effectiveness, type of account holder, and speed of communication delivery Partner cross-functionally with relationship management, operations, product, fraud, and others to collaborate and contribute to the execution of supporting collateral Obtain legal and compliance approval on all assets, adjusting as necessary based on their feedback Manage our internal email platform and utilize Workfront to send letters Provide monthly reporting to executives related to incident communications Provide recommendations for improvement to existing processes, collateral, and tracking You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in communications and/or consumer marketing work experience 1+ years of experience creating comprehensive marketing strategies Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint Proven solid writing and editing skills across a variety of channels Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the financial services and/or health care industry Experience with systems such as Workfront, Airtable, SendGrid, ServiceNow, or Salesforce Experience managing multiple high priorities items and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
