Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in the healthcare space and 5+ years of experience using SQL. Experience with Snowflake and Cloud DBMs is also required.

Primary Responsibilities: Inform and advise the clinical operation functions with empirical analyses that drive strategy with respect to key projects Communicate complex analyses to Leaders across the organization effectively without getting bogged down in the details of the analysis. Present a clear story of these analyses in effective Executive presentations Act as an advisor to investigate, identify signals, technical assessments and analytically assess the impacts to our key operating metrics Analyze industry trends, customer needs, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance Perform primary and secondary market research to generate strategic intelligence and insights Deliver data-driven insights to support actionable strategic direction, corporate prioritization, and communication Support the corporate planning process and ad hoc projects for executives, corporate requests, and special events Build market and competitive intelligence reports, dashboards, and tracking structures Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict; maintains confidentiality; listens to others; keeps emotions under control and overcomes resistance when necessary; remains open to new ideas Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and seeks clarification; responds openly to questions. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in the health care space 5+ years of experience using SQL Experience working with Snowflake and Cloud DBMs Ability to effectively drive results in a dynamic, matrixed environment with a high degree of organizational change, growth and ambiguity Superior conceptual, analytical and financial modeling skills Preferred Qualifications: Relevant work experience in strategy, management consulting, product or general management in a health care related field Experience using Python or R in a real-world scenario *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
