Position Overview: The Sr. Account Manager will have responsibility for overall management of key client relationships to deliver best-in-class service and provide proactive solutions in order to maintain positive client relationships and assist in growing client business. The Sr. Account Manager will work closely with team as well as Account Management leadership on any opportunities for existing clients as the relationship is held by the Account Manager. The Sr. Account Manager will work closely with Account Management leadership in the overall management of the account management function and maximize client relationships. Key Responsibilities • Technical Competence: Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry expertise. • Team Leadership: Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team. • Customer Service: Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis. • Policy Management: Manage policy expirations and renewals. • Renewal Process: Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals. • Accounts Receivable: Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts, collecting outstanding balances. • System Maintenance: Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. • Activity Monitoring: Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
