Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience or equivalent, project coordination experience in IT, knowledge of agile practices, risk management, and project documentation; PMP, CAPM, or CSM certification desired.
Remote - Federal Contract IT Project Coordinator to help in the management of cyber security projects. In this position, the coordinator will help with project deliverables, KPI tracking & reporting, generation of weekly status reports, requirements elicitation, meeting minutes & action items, and other duties as assigned. Experience in project coordination/management is required. The chosen candidates will report to the project manager and receive day to day work assignments. Responsibilities include: • Status, reports, and manage project schedule and budgets along with KPIs and correction plans • Keep meeting minutes, action items, and deliverable reports • Track project risks, due dates, mitigation plans, and owners • Participate in project review meetings • Generate weekly status reports and deliver to key stakeholders and project sponsors • Participate in requirements workshops and facilitate in business and functional requirements elicitation • Ensure Compliance with safety, security, environmental, health and quality assurance requirements. • Experience with project management, preferably in an IT environment • Exposure and understanding of agile best practices for project delivery • Experience in supporting highly complex IT or cyber security project • Experience with project risk management, mitigation planning, and documentation • Experience in generating and maintaining project documentation & artifacts such as project management plans, risk registers, change request logs, and meeting minutes • Desired: PMP, CAPM, or CSM certification • Experience with ServiceNow PPM or similar project management software • Education/Relevant Experience: Must have a bachelor degree and two (2) years of experience or a Masters degree, or 6 years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree
