Brief Description: The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in driving REMS IT strategy within the Operations group and Risk Management business segment. This position bridges strategic planning and day to day execution, aligning IT initiatives with business priorities, optimizing processes and driving measurable outcomes that ensure sustainable success. The Senior Director will oversee process improvements, ensuring efficiency, alignment with organizational goals, and adaptability. Specific job duties: * Work closely with business operations to evaluate REMS functionality, identify pain points, and streamline workflows * Identify opportunities for digital transformation and innovation, * Proactively identify areas of improvement within the business, provide solutions and execute a plan of action to address * Drive process optimization, automation and continuous improvement initiatives * Collaborate with Operations leadership to integrate IT solutions seamlessly into business workflows * Support Operations Leadership in the IT Agile Center Of Excellence Team * Work with IT leaders to support the definition of user journeys, workflows, and stakeholder requirements to support the product * Supports the REMS Product Owner in implementing AI-driven product functionalities to improve efficiency and stakeholder support * May support REMS Product Owner in facilitating training for Project Management and Operations teams * Contribute to IT pricing strategy * Contribute to an effective training program for REMS operations, bringing market intelligence and initiatives forward to IT and Operations * Provide input into annual plans for the REMS Business Segment to ensure growth * Participate and/or contribute to strategic initiatives across REMS * Perform additional duties as assigned by UBC Senior Management Supervisory Responsibility: * None Desired Skills and Qualifications: * Advanced Degree preferred, bachelor’s degree required * 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry * 5+ years of REMS experience, demonstrating strong working knowledge of REMS * 10 years’ relevant experience in IT leadership, with exposure to strategy and operations * Strong business acumen with ability to translate technology into business value * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Customer-focused mindset * Displays a strategic mindset and seeks innovative solutions * Critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills * Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities * Takes initiative and is results and detail oriented * Ability to build strong business relationships across various departments * 10% travel, as required Page Break
