Full Description

Job Description: • Lead the design, validation, and improvement of high-availability and disaster recovery solutions across the company's Windows infrastructure • Lead Business Availability and Disaster Recovery strategy for Windows systems across the account • Align availability and disaster recovery strategy with corporate business requirements and objectives • Assess and document current-state Windows solution architectures • Design and recommend high-availability Windows solutions, including Microsoft Server clustering and VMware-based infrastructure • Develop migration strategies, implementation roadmaps, and bills of materials for Windows environments • Ensure Windows solutions integrate effectively with the Disaster Recovery practice • Collaborate with account teams to gather operational knowledge and support transition planning • Lead design reviews validating that Windows solutions meet recovery objectives • Own DR documentation, runbooks, and supporting artifacts for Windows systems • Coordinate and execute planned DR testing activities • Monitor and evaluate DR infrastructure capacity across on-premises and cloud environments • Provide Windows systems administration support, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, applications, and connectivity • Advise on programming tools, database systems, and networks relevant to Windows environments • Remediate daily incident tickets, ensure system compliance, and support testing, staging, and policy/procedure improvements • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders on recommendations addressing availability and reliability issues Requirements: • U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required • BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Expert-level Windows systems administration expertise applied to Business Availability and/or Disaster Recovery design for enterprise infrastructure • Proven ability to lead Business Availability and Disaster Recovery design and strategy and advise across the organization on complex, business-critical availability and recovery issues • Experience with Microsoft Server, including clustering • Experience with VMware • Familiarity with disaster recovery and high availability in cloud environments: Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure • Eligibility for any required U.S. Government authorizations for access to export-controlled commodities and technology Benefits: • Equal opportunity employment commitment • Reasonable accommodation assistance for US job seekers
