Excelled at coordinating multiple disciplines across expansive factory floors? We need a seasoned Production Associate Manager to lead a shift of multi-craft Production Supervisors in our high-volume, highly automated steel parts factory. With 10+ years of heavy industrial experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory role, you will drive data-informed production schedules, cultivate a safety-first culture, and ensure defense-critical operations deliver unyielding precision and efficiency. Prepare for high-stakes challenges, tight deadlines, and a hands-on approach to fortify our factory. Key Responsibilities • Lead and Optimize: Direct daily factory operations, ensuring safety, high uptime, rapid issue resolution, delivering superior product quality with flawless execution. • Champion Safety: Build and nurture a world-class safety culture protecting people, plant, and planet. • Mentor and Manage: Oversee production supervisors, engineering technicians, equipment operators, and support staff. Develop 24/7 shift coverage plans, enforce accountability through structured rounds, logs, and training programs. • Drive Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives and employee development to enhance internal capabilities. • Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams to advance equipment development, run-offs, and handovers. • Reduce Costs: Identify savings opportunities in purchasing, operations, and energy usage. • Own Accountability: Take ownership within the factory walls—make swift decisions, mobilize offsite resources, and escalate issues before they escalate into crises. Required Qualifications • Experience: 10+ years in factory operations, plant management, or industrial maintenance; 5+ years in a leadership role. • Expertise: Mastery of quality systems, SPC data, production workflows, WIP management, bottleneck resolution, and regulatory compliance. • Operational Skills: Proven ability to manage 24/7 shift operations and coordinate across disciplines. • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in WMS, QMS, CMMS, SOPs, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and incident documentation. • Problem-Solving: Track record in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and cost reduction. • Communication: Exceptional organizational and communication skills to distill technical issues for all stakeholders. • Talent Development: Demonstrated success in building a robust pipeline of emerging talent. Work Environment Thrive on the front lines of our manufacturing facility—expect noise, machinery, and occasional travel for supplier missions or equipment assessments. Benefits • Competitive salary + performance bonuses. • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. • Generous paid time off + holidays. • Robust growth opportunities. Join the mission. We'll handle the move. Exceptional talent shouldn't be bound by geography. If you're ready to relocate to Dallas, TX and join us in reindustrializing America’s defense backbone, we'll make it easy—and for those who move quickly, additional incentives may be available.
