COMMERCIAL CLIENT MANAGER-ALBUQUERQUE, NM The Commercial Client Manager manages a Commercial portfolio and will have a secondary focus on selling deeper into the customer relationship. They will have responsibility for a mid to large size portfolio including complex credits. Additionally, this role will focus on deposit gathering, public funds, charter schools & tribal gaming. How you will spend your time: Grow revenue as directed by senior management to meet established goals by successfully prospecting new opportunities with existing clients and making appropriate referrals Partner with other officers to effectively administer the management of assigned commercial banking relationships Maintain portfolio by calling on existing customers to expand existing business, ensure excellent client relations & proper servicing of account(s), and ensure the portfolio's credit quality. Provide recurring customer service to existing and prospective clients, which includes direct contact with customers either through participation in joint sales calls with other officers or direct correspondence with clients and perform various projects/tasks as needed with an emphasis on providing The Unparalleled Customer Experience (TUCE) at all times Serve as a conduit for all product lines and match client needs with appropriate products. Proactively look for cross selling opportunities on bank products We’re excited to talk with you if you have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and 8+ years of commercial banking/lending experience, including credit underwriting Expert knowledge and understanding of how to identify and process maturing loans, line renewals, term loans that need to be extended, how loans can be restructured, approval process, change terms, etc. Strong ability to interpret policies/procedures, loan contracts, and understanding of credit reports, financial statements and loan documents Ability to be self starter and show initiative Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to manage time effectively Compensation Range: $69,230.00 - $149,000.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
