Position Summary The Residential Sales Manager will be responsible for California and the west coast with a primary focus of identifying opportunities to work with large retailers, both physical and e-tail. Additionally, the Residential Sales Manager will drive sales with indoor and outdoor furniture manufacturers and residential jobbers. Principal Responsibilities/Duties • Manage and grow sales with indoor and outdoor residential furniture manufacturers and residential jobbers/distributors. Visit appropriate retailers to expand the Ultraleather brand. • Plan and execute strategic and tactical plans to achieve assigned sales objectives and open new accounts in specified territory. • Work effectively with key stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Product Development) to develop and execute projects. • Position the Ultraleather brand in the residential indoor and outdoor space and identify market opportunities for residential accounts. • Keep up to date on market trends and industry intelligence. • Evaluate market conditions and competitive landscape to develop opportunities for business growth. • Play a key role in meeting preparation and follow-up to enhance our partners' overall experience of the Ultraleather brand. • Monitor customer preferences and needs to develop focused sales strategies. • Develop a keen understanding of all Ultraleather products and their recommended applications. • Report to management on a consistent basis as to the state of business and what the company needs to do to support the growth of the division. • Understand the Company’s structure, keeping up with the pace, and being able to multi-task. Must know how to prioritize. Must be detail oriented. • Develop and improve sales of existing key accounts as well as new potential accounts. • Travel on a weekly basis to key customers and appropriate tradeshows. • Attend appropriate corporate meetings. Unique Knowledge & Skills • 7-10 years of B2B Sales and/or Marketing of retail or specialty products. • Preferred industry experience and direct interaction with retailers in the area of furniture, high end decorative home goods, luxury products, specialty fabrics or similar types of consumer goods • Dynamic customer interaction skills • Excellent communication skills • Proven track record of success in promoting product growth and driving business with existing and new accounts • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines External Contacts Interacts with: • Residential furniture manufacturers, jobbers, key decision makers, and management.
