Position Summary The Service Coordinator ensures preventative maintenance schedules, repair work, and service requests are executed in alignment with customer expectations and our CARE values. This role requires proactive problem-solving, exceeding customer expectations, and achieving internal KPIs by fostering strong communication with customers, service providers, and colleagues. Position Requirements • Commitment: Demonstrated reliability and dedication to meeting deadlines and serving customers. • Accountability: 3+ years of experience as a planner, project manager, service coordinator, or vendor manager preferred; ability to own tasks and see them through. • Respect: Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate professionally across all teams. • Excellence: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required; experience with operations or service management software preferred. High school diploma required (college coursework a plus). Key Duties and Responsibilities Commitment – Delivering on promises and following through for customers (business to business) • Ensure all preventative maintenance is performed within the assigned month, coordinating schedules with Service Managers and confirming dates with customers. • Respond quickly and effectively to incoming emergency service requests, maintaining consistent communication until resolution. • Track technician arrivals/departures to ensure customers receive service as promised. Accountability – Owning results and driving solutions • Maintain up-to-date records and workflows in FieldPoint and Smartsheet. • Document technicians work thoroughly and ensure timely, accurate service reporting to customers. • Monitor and update job statuses in FieldPoint, proactively addressing outstanding issues and escalating when necessary. Respect – Building trust through professional interactions • Answer inbound calls and internal transfers with courtesy and clarity, ensuring customers and colleagues feel heard and supported. • Foster collaborative and respectful relationships with colleagues by engaging constructively, resolving issues efficiently, and supporting a positive team environment. • Provide clear, professional communication to customers and service providers at every stage of service.
