Key Responsibilities: • Manage the procurement of carriers across various transportation modes, including LTL, parcel, truckload, intermodal, ocean, and air. • Lead and mentor the carrier procurement management team, cultivating a culture focused on high performance and ongoing improvement. • Oversee the lifecycle of contracts, collaborating with our Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure adequate coverage and protection. • Analyze and report supply chain trends, negotiation strategies, and procurement results to executive leadership, guiding our logistics initiatives. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree. • 10+ years of transportation procurement experience, particularly in transportation contract negotiation. • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing procurement software and organizing initiatives. • Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive impactful business initiatives.
