## Key Role Overview Provides accounting, administrative, and financial analysis support to plant operations, acting as the financial business partner for plant management. The role focuses on P&L reporting, plant month and week-end closing activities, budgeting and forecasting, inventory analysis, capital expenditure ROI support, and maintaining internal controls, requiring discretion and the ability to work autonomously. ## Key Responsibilities - Serve as the financial business partner for plant management - Prepare and analyze P&L reporting - Lead weekly and monthly plant closing activities - Produce ad hoc financial reporting to support operational decision-making - Analyze inventory production reporting to ensure adherence to business processes - Review aged inventory - Lead the annual budgeting process - Lead the monthly forecasting process - Assist plant management with capital expenditure ROI analysis - Audit physical inventory and administer cycle count procedures at the plant - Monitor internal controls to prevent fraud and safeguard company assets - Perform other duties as required ## Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related major required - Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an Accounting/Admin position - Working knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance practices - Working knowledge and proficiency in computer and business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook - Proficiency with Excel, including pivot table reporting - Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to interact with all organizational levels and to maintain and safeguard confidential information - Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines - Ability to work hours mandated by management - Ability to travel up to 25% - Ability to pass a drug test ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience in a custom manufacturing environment preferred - CPA or CMA preferred - Construction accounting experience a plus ## Compensation & Benefits - Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually (dependent on experience; pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living) - Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual performance - Medical insurance - Health savings account with company contribution - Dental insurance - Vision insurance - Basic and voluntary life insurance - Disability insurance - 401(k) plan with company match - Paid vacation and holidays - Stock purchase program with employee discount - Educational reimbursement - Wellness programs and challenges - Other supplemental benefits ## Additional Information - Position located at the Cedar Hill, TX plant (on-site) - Travel up to 25% may be required - Must be able to work hours mandated by management - Must be able to pass a drug test - UFP Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Annual bonus and benefits described are subject to company eligibility and plan terms
