Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient execution across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and exceptions. This role leads warehouse staff, enforces SOPs, manages compliance requirements (DG, ITAR, EAR, AES), and drives operational performance through audits, training, and KPI management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong floor presence, experience in high-volume fulfillment environments, and the ability to enforce standards while maintaining operational flow. Key Responsibilities • Own daily warehouse performance across all operational functions • Maintain continuous floor presence to ensure correct carrier usage, FIFO compliance, and processing accuracy • Execute daily labor plans and adjust staffing in real time based on operational needs • Handle VIP, priority, and AES shipments in accordance with compliance requirements • Manage inventory levels for warehouse supplies and packaging materials • Coordinate with suppliers and carrier representatives to support warehouse operations • Resolve unknown parcels, shipping discrepancies, and costly shipment errors • Approve shipping restrictions and ensure country-specific compliance • Enforce SOPs and warehouse standards consistently across all teams • Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods (DG), ITAR, EAR, and AES regulations • Conduct routine operational audits and process checks • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) • Lead daily startup meetings and deliver ongoing SOP and quality training • Train, coach, and discipline warehouse employees while ensuring completion of onboarding and recurring compliance training • Delegate work effectively and hold teams accountable for performance • Ensure accuracy of WMS transactions • Monitor KPIs related to labor efficiency, quality, throughput, and inventory accuracy • Provide clear operational updates and performance reports to leadership • Troubleshoot basic IT and equipment issues (laptops, Zebra/Brother printers, barcode scanners, internet) • Operate forklifts for storage, retrieval, and supply handling as required Required Experience & Skills • 3+ years of warehouse or operations leadership experience • Experience managing supervisors and hourly warehouse staff • Background in SOP enforcement, audits, and quality control • Experience in KPI-driven, high-volume warehouse or fulfillment environments • Working knowledge of WMS system • Understanding of DG, ITAR, EAR, and AES processes (or strong exposure) Key Competencies • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational demands • Calm, professional communication style • Hands-on leadership approach with strong accountability • Ability to work independently and under pressure • Willingness to learn and adapt Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Paid time off • Parental leave Work Location: In person
