Building on its already high-performing Bank and strong net promoter scores with digitally led and high touch capabilities, UBS will further align to our client promise – personalized, relevant, on-time, and seamless services.  The Banking Operations Senior Analyst - Controls Oversight, will play a pivotal role within the Banking Operations team, ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant functioning of core banking operations. This position is suited for a strategic leader with deep expertise in operational policy development, process management, and risk control within a dynamic financial environment. The Banking Operations Senior Analyst will serve as a key liaison between operational teams, risk management, compliance, and internal auditors, ensuring that all banking operations adhere to evolving regulatory standards and best industry practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and refining operational policies and procedures, working collaboratively to implement frameworks that support both business objectives and regulatory obligations. This includes the design, documentation, and continual enhancement of controls to safeguard the integrity of bank operations. The Banking Operations Senior Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in existing processes, develop robust solutions, and ensure updated procedures are communicated and adopted throughout the organization. A core aspect of this role will be to support the operations team through annual control testing, internal and external audits, and regulatory reviews. The Banking Operations Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing testing and review calendars, pulling testing evidence and supporting documentation, and working with testers and auditors to answer questions and review findings. By tracking and analyzing audit findings, the candidate will drive remediation efforts and ensure that controls remain effective and responsive to changes in the operational landscape. Detailed salary information: • Weehawken: the salary range for this role is $105000 to $130000 The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team You will be part of the Banking Operations Team within the Global Wealth Management in the Weehawken Office. Your expertise Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience required. Proven experience in operational risk management and internal control frameworks within the banking sector. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
