About the RoleUber AI Solutions is seeking an Operations and Delivery Program Manager to lead localization operations and client delivery across translation, transcription, and transliteration services. You'll define and execute the team's mission-optimizing processes, resources, and workflows to improve quality, reduce costs, and accelerate turnaround times using internal tools and in-house talent.In this role, you'll strengthen client relationships, drive operational excellence, and partner closely with Localization (L10n), ML, Development, Supply, Sales, Tech, and Legal teams. You'll lead end-to-end operations in the PST timezone, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness while supporting both internal and external teams.This position is central to delivering world-class multilingual AI services and enabling seamless global communication.What the Candidate Will Do:- Lead end-to-end operations and delivery programs for translation, transcription, and transliteration projects.- Define and execute operational strategies that align with Uber AI Solutions' goals for scalability, quality, and cost efficiency.- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring delivery excellence and satisfaction.- Collaborate cross-functionally with L10n, ML, Development, Supply, Sales, Tech, and Legal teams.- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and drive automation or process improvements using internal and external tools.- Monitor key performance metrics (quality, cost, turnaround time) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.- Oversee vendor and resource management to ensure scalability and consistent quality.- Ensure adherence to project timelines, compliance standards, and client expectations.Basic Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in localization operations, program management, or AI/ML delivery environments.- Proven success managing end-to-end localization or language service delivery programs.- Strong understanding of translation, transcription, and transliteration workflows.- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, ML, and operations teams.- Excellent communication, stakeholder/clients management, and leadership skills.- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in fast-paced environments.- Experience managing budgets, optimizing resources, and driving cost efficiency and quality improvement.- Familiarity with language technology platforms, automation tools, and AI-driven localization solutions.Preferred Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience with transcription, STT models, or speech recognition technologies in the high-tech industry, preferably on the client side.- Ability to speak two or more languages.For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$162,000 per year - USD$180,000 per year.You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp You will also be eligible for various benefits.
