• *About the Role**Uber Eats is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager to lead data-driven user engagement strategies across our Retail verticals. You'll be responsible for identifying high-potential user cohorts, crafting targeted engagement strategies, and optimizing platform levers to drive repeat behavior and long-term retention.This role blends analytical rigor with executional depth-you'll analyze user funnels, performance trends, and promotional impact to build scalable, high-impact programs. You'll partner cross-functionally to activate the right product surfaces and messages at the right time, ensuring users stay engaged and convert more deeply.We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, moves fast with data, and can turn insights into structured, repeatable playbooks that fuel growth.**What You'll Do**- Build: Create more creative and efficient processes to target users with promotions and impressions in a compelling way to generate awareness and repeated engagement- Analyze: Quantify everything you do Utilize data-driven decision making to understand business trends and craft your recommendations to senior leadership- Test and improve: Create a roadmap to methodically increase the impact and efficiency of our promos and communications- Turn strategy into action: Program manage all aspects of user development and maturation, including weekly spend & CRM tactics, and other in-app levers that impact our growth- Collaborate: Work with a number of stakeholders like Legal, Data Science, Marketing, and Product to deliver the tools we need to deliver growth**Basic Qualifications**- 3+ years of operations, business/ general management, growth operations, strategy, planning, management consulting or similar experience- Bachelor's degree in related fields- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle problems logically; Data-driven approach to decision making and sound business judgment to determine project performance and financial viability, grounded in analytical thinking**Preferred Qualifications**- 1+ years experience in Management consulting, marketplace growth operations, or strategy work in a large business- Grocery or Retail experience- Proficiency in Excel/ Google Sheets, SQL preferred- Bias toward action and master simplifier - constantly pushing toward alignment, clarity and execution on tight timelines- Phenomenal collaborator and someone who proactively partners across teams- Self-motivated, works independently and possess strong organization and time management skills- Creative approach that enjoys experimentation and is willing to take bold bets despite risk of failure- Strong communicator, especially with external partners or clientsFor New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
