• *About the Role**We are seeking an Operations Director to bridge the gap between product, commercial, and technical workflows for Uber's advertising business. This role sits at the intersection of go-to-market strategy, product operations, and technical solutions development, ensuring our products are not only aligned with customer needs but also supported by innovative and automated internal tools and scalable technical workflows.The ideal candidate combines a product commercialization mindset with strong technical and problem-solving skills, capable of influencing the product roadmap while also designing and building AI-driven tools and prototypes that accelerate advertiser success, incubate new features and internal team efficiency.**What You'll Do**- Oversee technical implementation of key infrastructure projects in order to shape the foundational product roadmap that crosses Uber's lines of business. _Key technical infrastructure projects would include: Offsite strategy and API and Partner Integrations, Unified Ads Manager, Yield Management, Workflow and Automation Improvements._- Partner with product management and engineering to ensure infrastructure priorities are grounded in real-world customer and advertiser needs Activate and train Sales and Operations team to ensure full scale deployment and enterprise readiness.- Define operational requirements for cross product infrastructure launches, ensuring internal teams are enabled for success and external go-to-market execution is seamless.- Develop frameworks and metrics to measure product adoption, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.- Identify opportunities to automate advertiser and sales workflows, leveraging AI and other advanced technologies to automate, reduce friction and drive scale.- Partner with sales, product, and engineering to prioritize and execute custom solutions directly with customers where standard product development is not feasible.- Establish governance and best practices for when to build internal tooling to deliver bespoke client-facing technology.## **Basic Qualifications**- 10+ years of experience in product operations, solution engineering within the Sales organization, technical solutions, or commercialization roles within ad tech, SaaS, or digital media industries.- 10+ years in a leadership role (including 5+ years managing managers and setting organization level objectives).- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field experience.## **Preferred Qualifications**- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including Advertiser and Publisher workflows, sales processes, and product-market dynamics.- Hands-on experience with technical solutioning-from designing automation to prototyping AI-driven tools.- Demonstrated ability to partner with product, sales, and engineering teams to drive business outcomes.- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and representing the customer voice internally.- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$270,000 per year - USD$300,000 per year.You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
