Our team is highly visible across the company, known for designing creative solutions that increase productivity and performance of Uber's technical employees.We are seeking a Program Manager to support community engagement and learning initiatives for engineers. This role blends program facilitation with operational execution, requiring someone who is equally comfortable hosting large groups as they are managing program logistics.You will work closely with senior engineers, site managers, and other cross-functional partners to deliver onboarding programs for new engineers While you won't be teaching technical content, you will serve as a host and consistent point of contact for participants, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience.In addition, you will contribute to our Engineering Community and Branding programs from driving internal events that foster innovation and connections, to strengthening our external presence through events, blogs, and conferences.**What the Candidate Will Do:**- Facilitate delivery of Engucation onboarding programs for new engineers and interns in North America.- Partner on the design and execution of Engineering Community programs (e.g., Tech Talks, Tech Week).- Support Tech Branding initiatives, including the engineering blog, social media efforts, and preparing engineers to present at external conferences.- Serve as a visible and approachable point of contact for engineers, bringing energy and empathy to every program.- Manage operational workflows and contribute to continuous improvement of programs and processes.**Basic Qualifications:**- 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: community management, operations, process design, program management, or learning and development.**Preferred Qualifications:**- BA/BS degree in education, operations management, or a related field.- Experience facilitating and delivering programs to technical audiences.- 2+ years of experience with event, learning, or documentation management systems.- Strong customer empathy and a continuous improvement mindset.- Ability to work independently and creatively solve problems.- Experience building and using metrics, dashboards, or scorecards to monitor program health and measure success.For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$99,000 per year - USD$110,000 per year.You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
