As the Graphic Designer & Design Manager at Twin Cities In Motion (TCM), you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for asset creation, visual identity development, and brand support across all channels, including social media, website, video, digital and print. You will steward existing visual identity systems, advance new ones, create engaging graphics, and collaborate with staff to meet design needs in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll be a strategic thinker and problem-solver, developing impactful design concepts for campaign initiatives, product communications, event swag and materials, content storytelling and more. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Design Leadership: Lead design projects, providing creative direction and ensuring that the final assets aligns with our brand’s vision and goals. · Concept Development: Responsible for generating innovative ideas and concepts for campaigns, branding, and other visual communications. · Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, resources, and team collaboration to ensure successful completion. • Client Interaction: Serve clients and other outside stakeholders to understand their needs, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback. · Technical Skills: Proficient in multi-media design software (Adobe Creative Cloud) and have skills in digital and print design, large format graphics, motion graphics, and video editing. · Quality Control: Ensure that all design work meets high standards of quality and adheres to brand guidelines. · Brand Representative: Act as a brand ambassador in public-facing roles, delivering information and exceptional customer service to participants and stakeholders. · Mentorship: Provide constructive feedback and support staff development to empower team members in effectively managing and communicating across all public touchpoints. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital arts or related field · Minimum of 3 years of experience; experience with motion graphics and video editing are ideal · Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects • Highly motivated self-starter; ability to take ownership and work independently to meet deadlines • Experience gathering requirements, pitching design concepts, overseeing production and printing, and delivering the final product · Creativity and innovation. Passion for and ability to make existing and future events compelling for participants through visual storytelling and brand experience · Ability to work in a fast-paced, continually changing environment • Commit to being trained as a knowledgeable and approachable TCM Ambassador at events, in the community and through requested outreach · Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience · Experience with Microsoft Office Suite · Ability to regularly lift weights for events up to 25 lbs. and occasionally weights up to 40 lbs. · Ability to travel in and around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area · Ability to attend evening meetings and work weekend events · Experience with non-profits and volunteerism a plus Reports to: Sr. Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy Status: Full-Time, exempt, hybrid work environment with mandatory in-office days/weeks Salary: $59,000 to $62,000 per year Benefits: Twin Cities In Motion offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 403b employer match, yearly bonus plan, generous paid time-off, along with tailored annual professional development opportunities.
