Full Description

Vice President of Sales Location: Remote; Northeast US (must be close to an international airport) Base Salary: $200,000-$250,000 + Uncapped Bonus Opportunities Future On-Target Earnings: (base + bonus) $350,000+ Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, 401k, PTO, Sick Time, Holidays Job Type: Full-Time Travel: 25-35% (mostly domestic) Vice President of Sales (sales/business development exp. req.) Description Our client, a global systems integrator specializing in compute-based platforms, is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead expansion within their US division. Reporting directly to the President, this executive will own the direction and management of all sales operations, with full accountability for customer acquisition and revenue growth. This is a pivotal leadership role following the internal promotion of their long-standing VP of Sales. While the U.S. business has already achieved impressive momentum growing 109% during a four-year period, they are now looking for a forward-thinking leader who can bring a fresh perspective that will enable and accelerate continued organic growth. If you are looking for an opportunity centered around leveraging existing customer relationships, this would not be the right fit. However, if you thrive in a business development role influencing the overall strategy of new customer acquisition, this could be an excellent match. The ideal candidate will know how to earn trust and buy-in from a seasoned sales team while identifying performance gaps. With strong backing from their overseas parent company and a pipeline of potential acquisitions, this is a rare opportunity to influence the direction of a high-growth business at a defining point in its U.S. trajectory. This is more than a sales leadership role; it’s a seat at the executive table with the support and runway to make a measurable impact that resonates across a global organization. Important note: Ideally, candidates will be able to work hybrid in Boston, but this role can be remote in the Northeast when not traveling for the right candidate Vice President of Sales (sales/business development exp. req.) Responsibilities • Create a strategy for driving organic growth and oversee its execution • Manage a high-performing sales team (10) and drive individual accountability • Lead the development and implementation of strategic sales plans • Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships • Strengthen existing key relationships and participate in closing high-impact deals • Travel to clients and partners to build and nurture critical relationships • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, monitoring performance against targets • Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales activities with overall business objectives • Ensure the company consistently meets or exceeds established revenue goals Vice President of Sales (sales/business development exp. req.) Qualifications • Current leadership experience within high-end server market (CPU, GPU, storage, etc.) • 5+ years of experience selling compute-based hardware solutions required • Business development background selling to large OEMs required • 25%-35% travel (domestic; primarily East Coast) required
