Description Our client, a boutique financial advisory and consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. In this role, you will serve as a key advisor to multiple clients—ranging from high-growth startups to established mid-market companies—delivering advanced accounting insights, financial analysis, and process improvements. You will work closely with Controllers, Fractional CFOs, and client leadership to perform technical accounting functions, oversee month-end close processes, prepare financial reports, and provide consultative recommendations that enhance business performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in public accounting or financial consulting, thrives in a client-service environment, and brings an analytical, solutions-focused mindset to every engagement. Responsibilities • Lead and manage detailed accounting reviews across multiple client engagements • Oversee monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP • Advise clients on accounting treatment for complex transactions • Identify process gaps and recommend/implement improved accounting controls and procedures • Manage reconciliations of accounts, payroll, and intercompany activity • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives for clients • Act as a client-facing consultant, delivering insights that improve financial operations and decision-making Senior Accountant (Public Accounting or Consulting exp. req.)
