We're looking for a Cybersecurity Program Manager to join our team at the Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD)! At TVWD, we deliver safe, reliable water to more than 220,000 customers every day. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of defending the systems that keep our water flowing by safeguarding technology, sensitive data, and critical infrastructure from evolving threats. In this role, you'll research emerging threats, evaluate risks, and recommend improvements to ensure our systems are resilient, secure, and compliant. You'll collaborate closely with staff and partner agencies to strengthen our defenses, and you'll promote a culture of security awareness and compliance with industry standards. We're looking for someone with the following experience, skills, and traits to join our team: • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field; and • At least 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role focused on program development and governance (utility or public sector experience is a plus); and • At least 5 years of experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks like ISO 27000, COBIT, or NIST 800; or • Any combination of education, experience, and training that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties, as well as: • Cybersecurity certification, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) • Strong project management skills. You know how to plan, execute, and close security projects on time and within scope. • The ability to build relationships and explain complex topics in plain language. • A calm, analytical mindset when responding to incidents. • Integrity, curiosity, adaptability, and awareness of the public sector environment. Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $109,907-$164,860 per year, depending on experience. A hybrid schedule is available; however, the new Cybersecurity Program Manager is expected to work on-site and in-person for the first 3-6 months.
