Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Sr Director of Marketing & Communications - Aerospace & Defense Remote – (East Coast Candidates Only) Scope: Senior Director of Marketing and Communications for Aerospace and Defense will lead our comprehensive marketing strategy and communications initiatives across aerospace and defense (“A&D”) sector. Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Experience & Growth and matrix reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing, this position requires a strategic leader who can drive brand awareness, support business development efforts, and effectively communicate our value proposition to government agencies, prime contractors, and commercial aerospace customers. This is a highly visible role, driving critical initiatives in support of our growth with a direct impact on our success. The successful candidate will lead the A&D Marketing & Communications team to foster brand awareness, clear communications, and support targeted growth opportunities in alignment with Corporate Marketing branding strategy and initiatives. This is a full-time position in which the candidate will be required to travel. The hours vary as support is required primarily across North America, but occasionally in Europe and Asia. Duties and Responsibilities: Marketing Strategic Leadership Execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with corporate and business growth strategies and objectives Develop a customer facing marketing tool kit that will be used to help capture opportunities in defense, commercial aviation, and space markets. (Examples include high quality company & capability overviews) Collaborate with executive leadership to define go-to-market strategies for new products and services Manage A&D marketing plan and budget allocation across multiple programs and initiatives Business Development & Customer Experience Support Partner with business development and customer experience (sales) teams to support capture and proposal development activities Create compelling marketing materials for RFPs and commercial opportunities Develop customer-specific value propositions and messaging frameworks Lead the sector’s trade show strategy and participation in industry conferences Brand Management & Communications Oversee A&D branding and messaging in collaboration with Corporate Marketing across marketing channels Manage internal sector and collaborate with account leaders for external customer / partner communications within the A&D industry Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all marketing materials meet regulatory requirements Develop thought leadership content and executive positioning strategies Digital Marketing & Lead Generation Implement digital marketing strategies for the sector including SEO/GEO, content marketing, and social media in coordination with Corporate Marketing and Business leadership Manage marketing automation platforms and lead nurturing campaigns Analyze marketing performance metrics and ROI across all channels for A&D Essential Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, digital marketing tools and platforms Experience with CRM systems Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing analytics tools Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes, build relationships, engage with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization to drive value Experience leading geographically diverse teams in a fast-paced environment Strong business acumen and comfort enabling, participating in, and influencing business decisions Excellent communication skills at all levels. Gathering information for market intelligence and determining customer specific needs and requirements and understanding and communicating customer needs to various organizational levels. Strong leadership characteristics, and demonstrated talent development skills Existing relationships with Program and Engineering leaders within the customer set highly desired Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with high volumes of workload Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, MBA preferred 10+ years of marketing experience with 5+ years in aerospace, defense, or related industries 3+ years in leadership or management roles Experience working directly for large A&D prime systems integrators/OEMs highly desirable Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, digital marketing tools and platforms #LI-VT1 Compensation and Benefits: TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
