Orlando, Florida - 2026-02-18 The Associate Field Engineer will be responsible for installing data storage hardware equipment at various business sites in the Orlando area as well as regionally, along with occasional national travel. This is a 100% travel role. THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN ASSOCIATE FIELD ENGINEER: • Provide hardware support and installation on multiple storage platforms throughout the United States • Perform installations on multiple storage platform equipment (unboxing, lifting, racking/stacking, etc.) • Frequently lift and move up to 50-75 pounds for installations • Interact with IT customers and TSP technical team members, including presales, services, and support organizations • The impact extends to customer technical representatives, including systems administrators and technical managers • This will be a 100% travel role (local and regionally) requiring travel for formal and informal training to get certified YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE: • Must have hardware troubleshooting experience and be technically inclined (in work experience, military experience, etc.) • 1 - 2 years in a similar field technician role would be beneficial • Exposure to data center environments is strongly preferred • Education: degree in computer science, information technology, or any technical field preferred • Minimum of high school diploma or GED is required • Must be reliable, proactive, and possess the ability to take ownership of multiple engagements • Positive attitude, professional, self-motivated, and a fast learner • Strong sense of urgency, time management, and customer-facing skills are required • Must have a general understanding of Microsoft Outlook and demonstrate superb communication skills (phone/email/in-person) • Good job stability must be reflected on the resume ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ROLE: • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license (business mileage reimbursed), and auto insurance • Must be able to lift and install equipment (up to 75 pounds) into customer racks • Pay grade: 19 • View our benefits and pay grade information here: https://marketing.mytsp.net/tsp-benefits • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States • U.S. Citizenship is required due to customer security requirements WE ARE TSP TSP is award-winning, customer-endorsed, and minority-owned.
