Position Title: GIS Business Analyst (Part-Time Contract) Location: Remote Position Overview The Oakland County Treasurer's Office is seeking a part-time GIS Business Analyst to support spatial data initiatives and GIS project coordination. This role is ideal for professionals looking to contribute to public service through data-driven decision-making and geographic information systems. Key Responsibilities • Edit, maintain, and manage GIS datasets. • Design and implement GIS schema including views, tables, and attributes. • Collect, analyze, and interpret spatial data for various projects. • Prepare and present technical reports in a clear and logical format. • Collaborate with internal teams and work independently on assigned tasks. • Coordinate multiple workstreams and meet project deadlines. • Apply analytical thinking to solve problems and recommend solutions. • Advocate for data sharing and technology collaboration across departments. • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Treasurer's Office. Required Skills & Qualifications • 1–2 years of experience in GIS analysis or related field. • Proficiency in: • ArcGIS Online • ArcGIS Pro • ArcGIS Desktop • ArcGIS Server • ArcGIS Mobile • MS Visio • Microsoft 365 Services • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. Additional Information • This is a contract-based position with flexible part-time hours. • Only one candidate will be selected for this role. • The selected candidate will work closely with the Treasurer's Office staff.
