Join a team that has received numerous awards for being a top place to work: TruStage awards and recognition Job Responsibilities: Data Pipelines Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools such as Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, or similar to optimize data processing efficiency. Optimize data ingestion processes into data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency across multiple sources. Data Models Develop and maintain dimensional data models in data warehousing solutions like Snowflake for analytical and reporting purposes by integrating multiple data sources to provide actionable insights. Implement data transformations and aggregation techniques to support complex analytical queries, Data Science needs, processes, and improve reporting and query performance. Data Quality Establish automated data validation scripts and monitoring processes to reduce anomalies and maintain consistent high data integrity standards. Implement corrective actions to ensure continued accuracy and reliability of data across platforms. Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business objectives into technical solutions. Facilitate knowledge sharing on best practices for tools and data to foster a data-driven culture within the team. Documentation Document data pipelines, data models, and technical specifications involving all workflows, schemas, and scripts to ensure clarity and reproducibility of data processes. Maintain comprehensive documentation on data lineage and metadata to support data governance requirements and team data tracking requirements. Maintenance and Support Provide ongoing support for data pipelines, data models, and analytical systems under supervision. Implement proactive alerting and monitoring mechanisms to identify and resolve data processing issues in a timely manner. Performance Optimization Continuously evaluate and improve data processes and architectures to enhance performance and scalability. Implement best practices for data management and optimization, including indexing, partitioning, and query optimization. Data Compliance Ensure data usage adheres to established Data Governance best practices, including any requirements for data encryption and regulatory and audit purposes. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, statistics, information management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience. 4+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related field. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and R; familiarity with Snowflake, Alteryx, and Azure; understanding of version control and business intelligence tools. Advanced understanding of database design, data modeling, and data quality assurance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and project management skills.
