We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Channel Operations Manager to ensure operational excellence across our growing email marketing channel. This role focuses on compliance, efficiency, and performance, driving best-in-class processes and reporting to support marketing objectives and optimal channel delivery. About the Role As a trusted leader in financial services, Truist prioritizes compliance and operational excellence. The Email Marketing Channel Operations Manager will play a critical role in safeguarding our brand reputation while ensuring efficient and compliant execution of email marketing campaigns. This position requires meticulous attention to regulatory requirements, risk management, and process governance, alongside strong project management capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Channel Operations Management o Support end-to-end Channel Strategy needs, demand intake reporting and operational processes for email campaigns. o Support, maintain documentation of and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across teams and vendors. This includes managing & reporting SLA adherence rate (e.g., campaign turnaround times, issue resolution, reduction in operational errors and improved process efficiency, and successful delivery of projects on time and within scope.) o Maintain overall channel performance dashboards and reporting frameworks. Help drive advanced reporting dashboards and performance metrics to improve deliverability, engagement, and operational efficiency. o Propose enhancements/changes to improve operational efficiencies, reduce risk and improve Go-To-Market process for the channel. o Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in email marketing. Project Management o Project Manage cross-functional projects to enhance email channel capabilities and processes. Manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery. Compliance & Risk Management o Manage compliance controls to mitigate risks related to CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other regulations. Ensure team compliance with all applicable operational policies, procedures and guidelines. This includes manage and reporting on Compliance audit scores. o Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and financial industry compliance). o Partner with Legal, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure all campaigns meet regulatory and brand standards. Develop marketing, merchandising, and creative strategies to promote and sell Truist’s products and services through digital channels (website, social, mobile, online banking and email). Manage the implementation of online marketing programs and analyzes their effectiveness by leveraging expert-level knowledge of online strategies and marketing automation platforms to execute demand generation strategies and programs that fulfill client journeys while delivering on measurable business objectives for sales, revenue, market share and profitability including new client acquisition, client retention, cross-sells, and self-service adoption across enterprise product lines. Enhance optimization by testing, analytics, providing insights and educating stakeholders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Research, develop and execute strategies for Truist online channels which increase acquisition, retention, profitability and cross-sell of clients across Truist’s product lines. 2. Develop digital marketing channels/tactics such as web, social media, email marketing, marketing automation, paid advertising, search engine optimization and content marketing to increase product adoption and utilization. 3. Partner with lines of business (LOB) and marketing strategists to develop product specific roadmaps which assist in achieving LOB goals through digital marketing strategies. 4. Demonstrate a solid understanding of the consumer behavior model and user journeys, and how both are applied to banking products and services. Increase Truist product awareness, consideration, and acquisition by aligning consumer needs with Truist offerings throughout the consumer behavior process. 5. Leverage web analytics and performance data to develop and refine digital marketing strategies, improve conversion rates and enhance client experiences across digital devices. Maintain appropriate reporting capabilities in order to establish and track KPIs, and communicate the value of web properties and digital marketing strategies to LOBs and senior management. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional technical and management teams to create innovative and differentiating client experiences while proactively managing shifting business and marketplace dynamics. 7. Stay current on the changes taking place in the digital environment. Research and evaluate industry trends, the competitive environment and emerging technologies. Adjust strategies accordingly to ensure Truist remains at a competitive advantage. 8. Strong quantitative, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for measuring results and identifying actionable insights. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training 2. Five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3. In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Marketing discipline (e.g., Marketing P’s, Market research, analytics, digital) 4. Experience managing projects or project work streams and works as an Individual Contributor 5. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market 6. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders 7. Ability to provide direction, and mentor less experienced teammates 8. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business-related field or equivalent education and related training. 2. Minimum 3 or more years of experience in email marketing operations or related roles. 3. Proven track record in project management and process optimization. 4. Strong understanding of email marketing platforms, compliance regulations, and deliverability best practices. 5. Strong experience in analytics, campaign reporting and performance measurement. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7. Sound presentation skills and ability to translate metrics into understandable business insights. 8. Exceptional organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities. 9. Experience with marketing automation tools such as, Adobe (including Adobe Workfront), Salesforce, Eloqua. 10. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Teams and other common desktop PC applications 11. Demonstrate leadership qualities with ability to motivate internal teammates 12. Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
